Description

This seminar will integrate students into the Department of Anthropology by providing a forum for reflection about the milestones (e.g. preliminary exams) and experiences (being a GSI, choosing mentors) of graduate school. It will also provide practical information about anthropology and academic life, and help students begin the ongoing tasks of understanding the discipline, and developing a professional identity.

Course Requirements:

Assessment for this course will be based on participation, and on asynchronous short answer questions that will be submitted via Canvas during a designated time frame.
