Description

To take this course, students should have command of the first-year Chinese courses. This course will help students to continue to improve their Chinese proficiency level in all four aspects: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

By the completion of ASIANLAN 201, students should be able to write approximately 500 new characters and carry simple conversations with native speakers on topics such as shopping, college life, relationship, education and so on. The targeted proficiency level upon completion of this course is intermediate low.

Course Requirements:

Vocabulary quizzes, homework assignments, tests, oral exercises, essays, final exam, and class participation and attendance

Intended Audience:

This course is not intended for heritage speakers.
