Description

A one-term laboratory course covering the laboratory portion of Introduction to Earth Science.

The laboratory provides hands-on experience with minerals, rocks, maps, and data. Participants will learn to identify key minerals and rocks, use maps, and analyze topical datasets.

Course Requirements:

One midterm rocks/minerals quiz and weekly lab submissions.

Intended Audience:

Students who register for EARTH 118 / ENVIRON 118 must also be enrolled in EARTH 119 / ENVIRON 119 or they must have taken EARTH 119 / ENVIRON 119 in an earlier academic term.
