Our identities define who we are as individuals but they also influence our perspectives and opinions on certain topics. From a political and economic perspective, this course will be looking at how our various identities affect the way we think and behave in the world around us. Throughout the course, we will first look at influential identities that can have an impact on our political behavior. We will then explore certain theories on why we act in such a way. Finally, we will consider the methodology behind measuring our identities and the research implications associated with them.
