The Program in American Culture houses three formally constituted Ethnic Studies units: Asian/Pacific Islander American Studies, Latina/o Studies, and Native American Studies. Recent faculty hiring has made possible development in the area of Arab American Studies as well. The Program also has significant strength in African American studies with many faculty members active in this field.
