  Professor Witgen (Red Cliff Ojibwe) holds a joint appointment in the Department of American Culture and the Department of History.  He is the author of An Infinity of Nations: How the Native New World Shaped Early North America, (Philadelphia: University of Pennsylvania Press, 2012), as well a several articles on American Indian and Early American history.
