Dear LSA Student,

 

THE LAST DAY for LSA students to request a late drop or add of courses for the current term is FRIDAY, 8 NOVEMBER 2013.

 

Please take the time now to double-check your current term elections on Wolverine Access (http://wolverineaccess.umich.edu/) to make sure that your schedule is accurate.

 

If you are considering dropping a class, now is the time to meet with your instructor and academic advisor to discuss the pros and cons of staying in the class.  You can also refer to a list of frequently asked questions on-line at:

Honors and Residential College students should contact their respective advising offices for late drop or add forms and instructions. All other LSA students should use the information below.

 

 

Students can find late drop or add request forms in the LSA Advising Center, 1255 Angell Hall or download them from the LSA Student Advising website:

For Late Drops: Turn in completed late drop request forms to the LSA Academic Advising Center, 1255 Angell Hall, NO LATER THAN 4:00 P.M. on FRIDAY, 8 NOVEMBER 2013. Your instructor (faculty, lecturer or GSI) must sign the form and MUST indicate on the drop form and registration worksheet your last day of participation in the course, where participation may be course attendance or submission of an assignment on C-tools or through e-mail.

 

For Late Adds: You must have an override (“electronic permission”) from the department before our office can process your late add request.

 

You MUST request all changes by the deadline. The Academic Standards Board makes exceptions to this late drop/add policy only when students can document extreme and unanticipated circumstances that are non-academic in nature and that occur after the 8 NOVEMBER 2013 deadline.

 

The last day to change a class from pass/fail to graded or graded to pass/fail was 23 SEPTEMBER .  You cannot change your pass/fail status at this point.
