Accommodation Examples

 

Examples of testing accommodations as indicated on a VISA form:

  • Extended time (time-and-one-half or double time)
  • Distraction-reduced or quiet environment
  • Computers for testing that may include spell or grammar check
  • Adaptive technology (i.e., specific software, alternative print or display format)
  • Reader or Scribe
  • Taped exams
  • Approved “breaks” during test administration
