Winter 2013 Degree Candidates (April/May)

Mid September, 2012
If you have not already done so, apply for graduation and make a major/minor release appointment with all of your department advisors (see the Official Degree Audit Procedures for more details).

Friday, February 15, 2013
Commencement Book Deadline. All students who have applied on-line to graduate at the end of Winter 2013 semester by this date will have their names printed in the Spring 2013 Commencement Book. Degree candidates may continue to apply for graduation after this date, and until the last day of Winter term classes, but their name will NOT appear in the commencement program (see the Graduate's Guide to Commencement for more details).

Tuesday, April 23, 2013 (last day of classes)
Final Deadline for students to apply for graduation on Wolverine Access and submit release forms for graduation.

Thursday, May 2, 2013
All course work must be complete to be eligible for graduation at the end of Winter 2013 semester.

Saturday, May 4th, 2013
Spring Commencement Ceremony takes place in Michigan Stadium (see the Graduate's Guide to Commencement for more details).

Wednesday, June 5, 2013 
The Registrar's Office will post conferred degrees on transcripts.  Students can order a copy of their official transcript online through Wolverine Access or via the Registrar's Office website.

Late June, 2013    
Diplomas will be mailed to students' permanent addresses. If you do not receive it by July 1st, contact the Office of Transcript, Certification and Diploma Services via email at ro.diploma.staff@umich.edu or by phone at 734-763-9066.

Summer 2013 Degree Candidates (August Graduation)

Mid January, 2013
