"It is my goal to strengthen the connections between the College and our extraordinary alumni. I hope you will join me in this effort."
   â€”Dean Terrence J. McDonald

As the college approaches its bicentennial, there is much to be considered as it strives to meet the dynamic challenges of higher education today. The insights shared by members of the LSA community during College Connections interviews will help LSA administration and faculty understand what types of experiences undergraduates have at the College, what has been useful in professional life and influential in personal life, what they believe is needed as part of the LSA experience for students today, and their hopes for LSA's future as the preeminent public liberal arts college in the nation.

Our team of recent LSA graduates will meet face-to-face with alumni from all eras and families of LSA students to gain insight on the student experience, to understand alumni paths post-graduation to today, and to gather feedback on the College's current priorities in undergraduate education. The College Connections Program will represent both the alumni and family voice to leadership within the College.

What are the main goals and purposes of the College Connections Program?

  1. Gather meaningful insights regarding alumni's thoughts on their time in LSA and the current state of the College.
  2. Record feedback from alumni on what they believe to be important to the College's advancement and sustainability in the future.
  3. Represent the alumni voice to the College.
  4. Obtain more accurate data and personal information.
