Additional useful information:

Public Safety and Security
Call 911 for life-threatening emergencies. Call 3-1131 if you encounter an important, but non-emergency, problem after hours (building access questions, water leak, etc.).

LSA IT
936-3279 or lsa-csg@umich.edu This is LS&A's in-house computer support group. Although Anthropology may have on-site computing help at times, all calls should go through the LSA IT help desk first. LSA IT will set up new University-owned computers & peripherals, fix (or tell us it can't be fixed) older University-owned computers & peripherals, and load software. They work on network and hardware issues. They do not work on personally owned computers, other than limited assistance with connectivity and security issues.

For software help, call the LSA IT phone and select the “PC Helps” option. This is an outside company that gives phone assistance with questions on how to use various software programs.
