Copy Request Procedure

(see also Copy Allocation Policy)

If you wish to submit a copy or scan request:

You must fill out the departmental request form -- available from the link or on the "Incoming Copy Jobs" shelf at the Front Desk. Please make sure you fill out the request form completely, and that it is legible.

You must drop off your request form and the materials to be copied on the shelf labeled "Incoming Copy Jobs" to the side of the Front Desk in the main office.

PLEASE NOTE:

We need a minimum of 48 hours turn-around time for both copying and scanning (complex jobs, illegible and/or incomplete requests, or requests at the beginning of the semester could take longer). This means that requests submitted on a Thursday or Friday will not be completed until the following work week. Please plan accordingly.

All copies are entered on your individual code.

We will only copy or scan up to 10% or one chapter of a book (whichever is less).

Ours is a very busy machine; please limit your use to University business only.

An alternative to making a request to the main office is 7-FAST's new pilot program for all faculty and grad students, to deliver copies and loans to all faculty, proxies and graduate students for free. This may prove helpful to you especially at the beginning of the term when departmental copy requests may be delayed due to the volume of requests.

* All Departmental policies and procedures are subject to possible change as University and LSA policies change.
