Biological Anthropology deals with the fossil and genetic evidence of human biological evolution and the evolution of the capacity for culture and the ability to symbol. Models of social life are explored by primatology and by research in evolutionary biology. The relationship between culture and human biology is also discussed in modern studies of human growth and adaptation.
