Kelly Askew's latest film 'The Chairman and the Lions' won First Prize in the ETNOFilm Ethnographic Festival in Rovinj, Croatia. It was praised "for its ethnographic integrity and the honesty of its gaze."   It has also just been signed for a distribution deal with the most prestigious outfit for ethnographic/anthropological films in the world: Documentary Educational Resources (DER) in Boston, MA.
