Doctoral Candidate in Anthropology

  • About

My dissertation examines the formation of social complexity, elite economic strategies, and environmental change in the Bronze Age Nuragic culture of Sardinia. I am broadly interested in economic organization and human-environment relationships, and in addition to my dissertation work, I have investigated economic and environmental change in other periods using zooarchaeological analysis. I am currently planning a new field project in Sardinia to study off-site landscape use, non-elite production strategies, and environmental change in the territory surrounding my dissertation excavation.
