  Research Interests: I study intersections between gender, medical technology, and risk in the United States. My dissertation project explores how parents are negotiating the moral, cultural, and scientific uncertainty of the HPV vaccine, and deciding how best to care for their children. My project is funded by the Wenner-Gren Foundation.
