• About

  Martino's main field of study is the history of Buddhism in India and Tibet. He is also interested in the history of religion in China during the late Imperial and Republican periods.

  Martino is currently working on his dissertation on the role of Tibetan Buddhism in the Revival of Tantra (mijiao chongxing) movement of Republican China.
