Religion and Secularism
randeep@umich.edu
Randeep is vested in discovering how one might achieve an abundant and sovereign life. As such, he has resisted all disciplining technologies. He will one day discover how distinct cultures, philosophies, and ways of life may augment one another. Randeep wonders whether humanity might be sloughed off in anticipation for a radically new subjectivity. His research is therefor interested in uncovering the nature of self and death, with an eye towards implications in our understanding of politics, multiculturalism, and art. He is indebted to interlocutors including Heidegger, Wittgenstein, Lacan, Puran Singh, and Guru Nanak.
