China Theme Year Announced

LSA Theme Semesters connect the great intellectual and cultural strengths of the University of Michigan to the issues defining our world today. Across campus, faculty and students explore through special courses, guest speakers, performances, and other public events complex issues in ways that strive for perspective and insight.

The LSA 2007-08 theme year, "ChinaNow: A Contemporary Exploration," launches a yearlong exploration this fall of the culture and society of contemporary China and its place in this era of intensified globalization.
