Fields of Study Language Acquisition and Instructional Science Chinese Language About Qinghai Chen Dr. Chen teaches Fourth-Year Chinese I and II and a variety of topics courses, such as Chinese for the Professions I and II, Readings in Modern Chinese Culture and Society, and Contemporary Social Science Texts.  He has co-authored the textbook Advanced Chinese: Intention, Strategy, and Communication (Yale UP, 2005).  He is also working on computer-assisted instructional and testing projects.
