Graduate Student Instructor (GSI) Positions
The Department of Asian Languages and Cultures is allocated Graduate Student Instructor (GSI) positions from the College of LS&A for both language and culture courses. First priority for these positions goes to our own students. ALC then posts the remaining positions for graduate students from other departments.
The Department of Asian Languages and Cultures is hiring additional Fall 2013 Graduate Student Instructors for the following courses:

The deadline for Fall 2013 Hindi Language GSI applications is June 15, 2013.
The application process is two-fold. Students should first go to the Careers at the U homepage and click on "Graduate Student Appointments" to search for the available positions by their posting numbers. After applying for the job there, students should then fill out the application contained on this page. The application should be submitted, with the additional requested documents, by the deadline. Applications can be submitted electronically as PDFs to ashwolfe@umich.edu or dropped off at the department office in hard copy form.
