Professor Nuria Calvet has received one of the highest honors the College and University can bestow upon a faculty member: a Collegiate Professorship. This award recognizes a faculty member who excels not only in research but also in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and who fills a leadership role in the department.
Professor Calvet is now the Helen Dodson Prince Collegiate Professor of Astronomy.
