DUNCAN CAMPBELL
BS, Michigan Astro ’11 | PhD Student, Yale | Gruber Science Fellowship
Duncan did his undergraduate research on black-hole feedback, and is now studying how a cluster’s environment affects the evolution of its constituent galaxies.

MEGAN WATZKE
BS, Michigan Astro ’95 | Public Affairs Officer, Chandra X-ray Observatory
Megan realized early on that she loved “big picture” astronomy and added a master’s in science journalism to her bachelor’s in astrophysics. She now handles public affairs at NASA’s Chandra Observatory and is co-authoring a book called, "Your Ticket to the Universe: A Guide to Exploring the Cosmos."
AARON EVANS
BS, Michigan Astro ’90 | Associate Professor, University of Virginia & Associate Astronomer, NRAO (ALMA)
Aaron confirmed his interest in astronomical research as an undergraduate at U-M and has risen in the ranks to a unique position combining professorial work at the University of Virginia and scientific support and outreach for the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) division of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO). He’s known for his work on molecular gas in radio and quasar host galaxies.
