Welcome to the Barger Leadership Institute. The Institute was founded in 2007 with the generous support of University of Michigan alumni committed to innovative undergraduate education in the liberal arts and to the goal of early, rigorous, and general leadership education. The Barger Leadership Institute partners with the Organizational Studies and other units on campus to provide Michigan students with rich curricular and co-curricular opportunities as well as funding in support of leadership learning that teaches beyond the conventional classroom.
