Electrical Engineering and Computer Science departmental information
The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) Department is among the leading departments in the nation, with a diverse program of nearly 100 courses per semester, 90 faculty, 800 undergraduate, and 700 graduate students.
Computer Science concentration
The computer science (CS) program at UM is available to students in both the Colleges of Engineering and of Literature, Science, and Arts. The program requires students to have a solid foundation in computer software, hardware, and theory.
Computer Science Academic Minor
The Academic minor in Computer Science is intended to provide students with a foundational grounding in the discipline of software construction, along with an in-depth experience in at least one advanced area.
