Primary Instructor:

Focuses on the line as expressive vehicle for conveying ideas through drawing. The first of four required freshman/sophomore studio courses that provides exposure to the wide variety of approaches to drawing including line, form, analysis and ideation. Explores both objective and subjective visual representations and experiments with a variety of mark-making media.
