Primary Instructor:

The course focuses on the analysis of fiscal policies. Emphasis is given to the combination of macroeconomic theory and quantitative measurement, as well as to the comparison of the theoretical results to actual events. The analysis includes the microeconomic optimization of households, firms and government separately, and their interaction in general equilibrium.
