Primary Instructor:

Fundamentals principles and practice of non-intrusive measurement techniques for compressible and incompressible flows. Review of geometric and Gaussian beam optics; Laser Doppler Velocimetry; quantitative flow field measurement techniques including interferometry, Laser Induced Fluorescence and Particle Image Velocimetry. Advanced data processing techniques for turbulent flow. Error estimation.
