The oceans of earth, their circulation, biology, chemistry, geology of the sea floor, and marine resources. Emphasis is on understanding the oceans as a single ecosystem.

Note: This class is closed to seniors until December 12. To enroll in the Intro Oceanography Lab, enroll in any section of EARTH 223 Students are strongly encouraged to enroll in both EARTH 222 and 223 in the same term.
