Primary Instructor:

Lectures and discussions are concerned with the following topics: the physical methods used in molecular biology; structure and coding capacity of DNA chromosomes; DNA replication; transcription; protein synthesis; and prokaryotic and eukaryotic regulation. Four lectures per week are supplemented by a one-and-a-half hour discussion section.
