Primary Instructor:

Big business in the United States today. Considerable attention is devoted to specific industries, including milk, beer, prescription medicines, gasoline, electricity, air transport, and automobiles. Emphasis is placed on establishing the linkages between market structure, business behavior, public policy, and economic performance. Students are expected to participate actively during lectures and sections alike. Once enrollment reaches its cap, students are taken in order from the waiting list, should places become available. Students who miss the first two days of class without permission will be dropped automatically from the course.
