This will be an advanced course in modal logic, which in part will cover material from "Modal Logic", by Patrick Blackburn and Maarten de Rijke and Yde Venema, and in part will deal with issues relating to situating modalities in time.

Students will be encouraged to undertake a research project in connection with this course.
