In this course we'll be reading Jane Austen's "Emma," Charlotte Brontë's "Jane Eyre," George Eliot's "Middlemarch," and Virginia Woolf's "To the Lighthouse."

Students will write weekly responses to their reading, two essays, and a final exam.
