Field experience in organizations, institutions, and service agencies. Currently, the Program in American Culture offers Internships in Arab American Studies: Internship opportunities are available at various Arab American organizations in Dearborn, Michigan (35 minute drive from Ann Arbor) including at the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee and the Arab American National Museum. Other University of Michigan internship programs are available (such as the Washington and New York Internship Program and Project Community). Students must make individual arrangements with these programs.
