This is a one-term introduction to Environmental and Natural Resources economics. The course uses the tools of economics to study environmental and natural resources issues. Topics include — externalities and market failures, public goods, property rights, environmental regulations, nonrenewable resource extraction and renewable resource use. We will use the tools of supply and demand to evaluate environmental policy and proposals.
