Primary Instructor:

This class is designed for advanced students of Polish language who wish to practice their listening, reading, and speaking skills. Contemporary materials dealing with Polish politics, economy, art, history, intellectual dilemmas and controversies, and daily life will be analyzed and discussed in detail. Polish popular music and film will be used extensively to provide a context and a catalyst for conversation. If you are fluent or nearly fluent in Polish and your goal is to practice your comprehension and communication skills this class will be ideal. Grading based on attendance, participation and take-home projects.
