En este curso nos aproximaremos a la producción literaria hispanoamericana desde el siglo XVIII hasta la actualidad. Utilizando el conocimiento adquirido en el curso de Introducción a la Literatura sobre los géneros literarios y las técnicas de análisis, observaremos las transformaciones de la literatura de acuerdo a su contexto histórico, afianzando la crítica y el análisis. Además de leer las selecciones y obras más representativas de cada período estético, miraremos representaciones cinematográficas de algunas de ellas, como una propuesta más de interpretación del texto y la época.
