A rigorous introduction to biochemistry with a chemical emphasis. Designed for undergraduates in the Biochemistry Concentration Program but open to graduate students with a strong background in chemistry. Students may elect to participate in BIOLCHEM 491, a weekly seminar presented jointly by clinicians and basic scientists, which correlates biochemistry lecture material with human disease through the use of clinical case studies.
