Primary Instructor:

An intermediate ballet course which focuses on placement concepts such as transfer of weight, core-strength, a solid standing leg, and the positions of the body. Proper alignment will be stressed in all of the exercises at the barre and in the centre. Centre work is designed to impart solid turning and jumping skills including en dehors and en dedans pirouettes, traveling turns, basic petit allegro and grand allegro vocabulary. Emphasis will be placed on more difficult combinations of movements.
