Primary Instructor:

Dental implants are an increasingly important aspect of dental practice and the dental hygienist will function to provide education and maintenance to patients with implants. Students will learn the indications for use of implants, the steps in the implant process, monitoring and maintenance of implants, and the role of the dental hygienist on the implant team.
