Primary Instructor:

This course presents mechanisms and theories related to the development of disease and alterations in body function of individuals throughout the life span. Emphasis is placed on common conditions related to functional health patterns. Principles of microbiology concerning disease transmission and immunological responses have been integrated into this course.
