Primary Instructor:

This seminar presents perspectives in the performing and media arts from the early twentieth century to the present. Students develop critical analytical skills contextualized by the historical, cultural and technological underpinnings that have influenced the media arts. Students complete readings, writings, viewings and listening assignments as well as participate in group discussions.
