The course is based on the Polish TV series "Poetry Unites" directed by Ewa Zadrzynska. "Poetry Unites" is a series of 5-minute films initiated and coordinated by Evens Foundation. In each of the movies, a particular poetry lover speaks about his/her life in the context of a favorite poem.

The course covers the following topics: everyday life, personality characteristics, life styles, educational systems, religions of the world, nature and environment. Students will practice vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and intonation of the Polish language through discussing movies and assigned texts.

The course is conducted exclusively in Polish. English is used only during office hours and when otherwise necessary.
