Advisory Prerequisites: BIOLOGY 162 or 163 or 171 & 172 & 173 or 195 & 173 AND concurrent or prior enrollment in BIOLOGY 281/ENVIRON 281.
BS: This course counts toward the 60 credits of math/science required for a Bachelor of Science degree.
Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.

EEB 372 replaces BIOLOGY 282, which is no longer offered. This laboratory course is meant to give students experience with every aspect of ecology including formulating hypotheses, designing and conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting the results. EEB 372 includes several writing assignments meant to help students become competent scientific writers. These assignments include writing a proposal, keeping a field journal, writing a review paper, and a final laboratory report. There are two required textbooks and one required course pack.
