This course focuses on the Literature of the English speaking Caribbean and is taught by one of the major writers of the region. The class will concentrate on close readings of poems, stories and plays written by a range of authors including: Derek Walcott, V.S. Naipaul, Louise Bennett, Lorna Goodison, Earl Lovelace, Trevor Rhone, and Linton Kwesi Johnson.
