Primary Instructor:

This course is an introduction to the literature written by and about Arab-Americans, including memoir, nonfiction, novel, short stories and poems. The themes explored throughout the academic term include but are not restricted to race and ethnicity, family and gender issues, alienation and naturalization, and experiences of home and homelessness.
