Video Art: Low-Tech/Experimental Stories is a video production class that will focus on low-tech video production, using HD camcorders such as the Flip or Kodak Zi8. The nature of the approach will be geared around low-tech production with these small hand-held cameras and a personal and/or experimental approach to “story.” “Story” being inclusive of non-fiction, documentary, fiction and experimental forms. Students can work individually or in teams. HD files are large, and you should have your own FIREWIRE hard drive, minimum 500 GB.
