This laboratory course provides hands-on experience with methods used in endocrinological investigations. The students will learn techniques ranging from the organismal to the molecular level. The course emphasizes hypothesis testing, modern techniques, and data analysis. Prior or concurrent enrollment in MCDB 418 is required to take this course. The enrollment is limited to 12 students. Students should be aware that this course uses live animals.

The laboratory will meet twice a week (a four-hour session and a two-hour session); however, students should anticipate an additional two or three hours laboratory time at various (and occasionally odd) times in the week.
