This introductory motion picture course is familiarizes students with dramatic narrative movie production from interpreting the screenplay through location production techniques and post-production. It provides students with a solid understanding of how standard movie production processes and techniques are used to effectively communicate ideas in Dramatic Narrative productions (any genre: comedy to drama). Students work in teams of four to six to produce two short films as well as participating in two in-class dramatic narrative film productions.
