Building on previous television experience, this course is designed to focus on the relationship between technique and content in television programs. Students receive continued hands-on experience in multi-camera studio television production through a series of increasingly complex directing projects.

Course Requirements:

Students will be assigned a series of directing exercises with increasing complexity and will learn to direct various types of studio productions. Evaluation is based on completion of these studio projects, participation in studio and class critiques, short diagnostic quizzes, and one short paper.
